This poem is about Love and Shadows
I hide in my music – sometimes my only friend.
I hide in my poems because You gave me this pen.
I close my eyes and I drift away
to a place other than today.
I know that You love me, it’s clear in your words.
but when I don’t feel You, darn, it hurts.
Sometimes I’m alone; I cry by myself.
But when You were alone You felt what I felt.
I hide in the shadows; I hide under Your wings.
I hide when I’m thinking too much about things.
Sometimes I break down, but I know You still love me.
You’ll never leave me, and that’s what consoles me.
Take away the way I do feel today.
Take away the way I do feel always.
Take away the way I do. . . I pray,
Take away the way. . . take it all away.
“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings.” Psalm 17:8.

Sometimes I break down but I know you still love me……❤️
Thanks, friend, I’m you liked it 🙂 We all need that sometimes, right?
Absolutely and by the way as I couldn’t see my comment I sent you a mail thinking they went into spam😊
I think you’ve been traumatized, but all your comments are coming in just fine 🙂
🙄How will I survive self publishing when I can’t even see if my comments are or not out there?🤦🏼♀️
