Guys Like Me (Loser Lyrics)

Guys Like Me (Loser Lyrics) | Short Poem No. 32

This poem is for guys like me (loser lyrics).

Why am I always ten years late?

If love was life, I missed the date.

Twenty years gone and I still haven’t changed.

Forget about winning, I’m in the wrong game.

I’m a L-O-S-E-R but winning in the past.

I’ve got the gold medal but finishing last.

Guys like me, we like to drive around alone.

We drive for hours until we go home.

But we’re never late because no one’s waiting.

We’re never late, it’s a permanent vacation.

Guys Like Me (Loser Lyrics)

I’m a L-O-S-E-R but winning in the past.

I’ve got the gold medal but finishing last.

It’s time to pull myself together.

It’s not like me to be grey like the weather.

You never know if you should quit or if you should give in.

Or if you should tough it out and still think you can win.

It’s the modern day take on the classic loser theme song.

But sometimes I like to cry. . . and is that so wrong?

I’m a L-O-S-E-R but winning in the past.

I’ve got the gold medal but finishing last.

Maybe I’ll just keep driving.
